The Goodness of God

Have you stopped lately to think about how good God really is? In the middle of busy schedules, financial responsibilities, and life's challenges, it can be easy to overlook the many ways God shows His goodness every day.

From the moment we wake up, His kindness is evident. A beautiful sunrise, encouragement from a friend, strength during difficult times, and forgiveness when we fall short are all reminders of His faithful love. Scripture encourages us:

"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him." — Psalm 34:8

In Exodus 34:6-7, God revealed His character to Moses as merciful, gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love and faithfulness. This is the God we serve. Even when circumstances are difficult, we can trust that His heart toward us is good.

God's goodness is most clearly seen through Jesus Christ, who came to bring hope, life, and reconciliation with the Father.

As a church family, let us make it a daily practice to recognize and thank God for His goodness. Share His faithfulness with your family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who may need encouragement. His goodness never fails and never runs out.

Let us continue to trust, worship, and praise our God, who is good all the time.
