I Have Much People in This City

Published October 22, 2025

When Paul arrived in Corinth, the Lord spoke to him in a vision saying, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.” (Acts 18:9–10). Those words still echo with power today. They remind us that even when we feel small, outnumbered, or uncertain about the impact of our efforts, God is already at work in unseen ways. He has hearts ready to respond, people prepared to believe, and   lives waiting to be transformed.

After our very first Community Bible Study, we witnessed that truth firsthand. God blessed us   with a soul who responded to the Gospel, choosing to be united with Christ in baptism. It was a sacred reminder that the message of Jesus still reaches deep, that His Spirit still moves among us,  and that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Let us keep planting seeds, praying for open hearts, and sharing the good news with confidence.   There are still “many people in this city” whom God is calling to Himself. Our job is simply to   keep shining the light.
