FINISHING THE YEAR STRONG

Published December 10, 2025

As the year winds down, I find myself grateful. God has been good to our congregation. We’ve seen new people added, friendships formed, prayers answered, and lives strengthened. I’m thankful for every person who has found a home here.   But I don’t want us to coast into the finish line.

December gives us two great opportunities:

• our sermon series, Finding Joy in Unexpected Places

• and our Christmas Eve service

Both of these are perfect moments to invite someone to church. Some of us feel awkward about evangelizing, and that’s okay. We don’t all have the same gifts. But an invitation is something all of us can do.

In Scripture, the invitation was simple: “Come and see” (John 1:46). God used those words to change a life. He can do the same today.

Let’s finish this year strong. Keep praying. Keep showing up. Keep reaching out. God is not done with us, and I believe there is more ahead.

Paul reminds us, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6).

Thank you for the way you love, serve, and encourage. I’m grateful to be part of this church family, and I look forward to seeing what God has in store in the coming year.

See you Sunday — and if you can, bring someone with you.
